Sage School is designed for children who are both intellectually gifted and neurodivergent. We believe families shouldn’t have to choose between a school that challenges their child academically and one that supports who they are. At Sage, they get both.
Introduction
The Sage School of Dallas is unique to the DFW private school community — and only a handful of schools like it exist nationwide.
Sage was built for twice-exceptional (“2e”) learners: bright, intellectually gifted students who also face real challenges with social-emotional skills, executive functioning, or sensory processing. These students make up an estimated 6% of the K-12 population, and traditional schools have rarely known what to do with them. Gifted programs aren’t built to support their social and emotional needs. Learning support programs aren’t built to challenge them academically. So for years, these students fell through the cracks — too gifted for one kind of school, too different for the other.
We started Sage because that gap shouldn’t exist. No family should have to choose between a school that sees their child’s brilliance and one that supports their needs — so we built one that does both.
